Phil Olenic D.V.M.
Phil grew up in eastern Henrico County, graduated from Benedictine High School and attended Virginia Commonwealth University. He received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Tuskegee University in 1995. His special interests are soft tissue surgeryand chronic pain management. When not working, Phil enjoys spending time with his two daughters and enjoying the outdoors.
Tim Dietrick D.V.M. , M.S.
Tim grew up in western Henrico County, graduated from Benedictine High school and attended the University of Richmond. He received his Masters degree in Biology from the University of Richmond in 1979 and his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Virginia Tech in 1987. Tim’s special interests are internal medicine, soft tissue surgery,and chronic pain management. Tim enjoys the outdoors and traveling with his wife, Roxanne.
Zachary Hogge D.V.M.
Please join us in giving a warm Varina Vet welcome to our newest veterinarian Dr Zachary Hogge! Dr. Hogge is a native of Smithfield, VA. He attended Virginia Tech for his undergraduate degree and followed it up with vet school at the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Hogge started out as a veterinary assistant in both a small animal practice and equine and farm service practice before becoming a veterinarian. He has also worked with our friends at Virginia Veterinary Surgical Associates and Carolina Veterinary Specialists prior to working in a small animal practice in his hometown. Dr. Hogge’s areas of interest include general surgery, internal medicine and dermatology.
Dr. Hogge is loved and owned by his senior black lab Drake. When he is not working, he enjoys boating, decoy carving, outdoor activities and spending time with family and friends. Dr. Hogge is very excited to join the Varina Vet family and eager to meet our clients and patients!
